Manual Adjusting
A manual adjustment involves applying pressure to specific joints in a specialized manner to relieve pain, soreness, or tightness.
Instrument Adjusting
Instrument adjustments are very similar to manual adjustments. The difference is that instrument adjustments use a tool, such as an Impulse Adjuster tool.
Ultrasound
Ultrasound therapy (also known as therapeutic ultrasound or focused ultrasound) is a noninvasive, pain free treatment to help with a variety of joint, bone, nerve, and soft tissue issues.
Infared Laser Therapy
Infrared laser therapy is a first line of defense to address many forms of chronic and acute muscular, nerve, and skeletal pain.
Electric Muscle Stimulation
EMS is used to treat muscle pain, stimulate damaged nerves, relax muscle spasms, auto injuries, muscle weakness, and chronic pain.
Massage
Primarily utilized for pain relief, massage therapy uses manual manipulation of soft tissues to relieve pain in the back, neck, shoulder, and other regions of the body.
Spinal Decompression
Nonsurgical spinal decompression is a form of mechanical traction focused on relieving lower back or neck pain by elevating the pressure placed on deformed or injured discs in the spine.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
James “Jimmy” Magar, DC
Dr. Magar began his journey with chiropractic care at a young age. After sustaining a concussion, chiropractic was the only treatment that helped his headaches. Dr. Magar decided to attend chiropractic school as a way to share the same compassion he had been shown with other people. During chiropractic school, Dr. Magar completed a chiropractic mission trip to the Dominican Republic. There he discovered his desire to care for as many people as possible.
Dr. Magar began working as a chiropractic intern and later established his own practice in Kings Mountain. Since the beginning of his career, he has been focused on helping patients understand their condition and find healing through alternatives to traditional care.
Dr. Magar obtained a Biology degree from Lenoir-Rhyne University and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida. He is an active member of the Kings Mountain Rotary Club, and the Cleveland County Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Magar and his wife Chelsea, recently welcomed a baby girl to their family.
